BELCOO GAA YOUTH NOTICEBOARD 2020 - Updated: Thursday 8 April 2021 :13:16
REGISTRATION & RETURN TO PLAY
From April 12th limited outdoor training can resume. Parents and Guardians need to do the following. 1. Ensure your child is registered via the Foireann System. Note the Userid and Password for the Covid Health check from last year's return to play system will be the same for this system. When you go to the Foireann system there are links on how to recover your userid and password. 2. There's some further details here on how to register yourself/ your child. (Note : if you are entering their details and linked to your own, then your own details need to be entered correctly too (no date of birth in your own profile means the system cannot determine you are over 18 etc..) 3. Make sure you also do the return to play Covid19 information course on GAA elearning site, if not completed last year. This gives details of what we expect from parents and children, and what parents and children should expect from the club. 4. Ongoing health questionnaire will be needed prior to training. (Scroll to bottom of Foireann home page after logging on and select 'Add New' in the Health Questionnaire section).
Belcoo Around the world in 80 days challenge.
Lets get out there and walk, cycle, jog, run and log those kilometres each week. You can join the closed facebook group (may need invite to join) to see what some people are doing. If you just want to log your weekly totals - we will need everyone to chip in- just access this Microsoft form here. <--- Remember we're trying to raise money for a number of charities from doing this too so visit the donation page <---- and contribute what you can.
Most of all just get moving !! and enjoy it !!

RETURN TO TRAINING PROTOCOLS
As we prepare for the opening of MacNean Park for return to training, we ask ALL parents/guardians of underage players to note the following;
🏐ALL Parents/Guardians of underage players from U11.5 upwards should complete the Health Questionnaire on behalf of their children prior to attending the first session only. An online solution will be available for this process and when it goes live we will post that link here.
🏐Each Parent/Guardian of underage players from U11.5 and upwards will be required to sign a declaration at each subsequent session to confirm the health status of their child has not changed. Therefore all parents/guardians must ‘sign-in’ their child on arrival to training at MacNean Park with their child’s teams Covid-Supervisor. We cannot allow others to sign on behalf of a parent/guardian.
🏐Parents/Guardians of underage players from U11.5 and upwards must complete the GAAs COVID-19 Club Education eLearning Module. The module takes 20-minutes to complete. Those who pass a simple quiz will be able to gain a Certificate which they can print or take a screenshot of to show the Covid Supervisor for their child’s team before their initial return to Club activity. IMPORTANT: This module MUST be done before returning to training! Access the module here https://courses.gaa.ie/Covid19ClubEd/#/
🏐Any child who arrives to MacNean Park whose parent/guardian has not followed the three steps above will NOT be permitted entry to MacNean Park, and parents will be contacted to collect their child.
🏐Your childs participation in training and games is entirely optional. Everyone’s circumstances are different and we understand if you wish to opt-out at this time.
🏐As a club we have to adhere to the guidelines set out by the GAA as well as the government guidelines, and we ask for your support in regard to these three regulations, namely the completion of the online questionnaire, completion of the online education module and signing in your own child at the gates MacNean Park for training.
🏐The situation can change and we will review our procedures as necessary. Further details will be posted here ahead of training sessions. Thank you
SATURDAY MORNING TRAINING
Previously we've accepted membership forms as and when kids turn up. However we're going to have to be a bit more organised. ALL Children will need to have a membership form completed first so that coaches have details necessary for contacting people and so we can organise our groups. We are going to need parents to volunteer to help with roll call, with Covid19 related protocols (everything from being a C19 supervisor, to helping disinfect equipment etc.) and general admin/other tasks (eg helping around drop-off/pick up times). Most of the top end of the School (2019 P7,P6,P5,P4) have membership forms completed as they attended the skills sessions prior to the lock down. I have very few forms for the younger age groups. The plan is to provide coaching sessions for all groups (P1-P7) whilst still adhering to guidelines laid down by GAA and by Government dependent on Virus prevalence etc. Fill in and sign the youth membership form (see link to youth membership form below), then photograph first two pages and send to Tom White club registrar. Contact Details : email mailto:[email protected] Phone No. 0774 010308. Or if you want to drop in to me mail it through my letterbox. I am also available on WhatsApp. Please write class your child is currently in ( ie September 2019 class .. using Preschool for any child in preschool ). Membership is 10 GBP per child, max 50 for family membership (so if two adults are members (25 each) then Children are included. Believe me when I say that payment will be the easiest thing in all of this to organise..for now I just need to get names of children and parents so we can get systems in place to give these kids some contact time with each other in a fun environment, getting active and picking up the fundamentals of Gaelic skills. Note : once child is registered, the Covid awareness and health questionnaire have to be completed (In the case of the Questionnaire it must be completed for each Child and then reconfirmed each session).
Belcoo Centenary Digital Archive
Our Digital Archive can be visited here. We will add more in the coming weeks but there is plenty of information there to keep kids and the older generation busy for a while. Bear with us as we load more to the site.
To Comply with GDPR requirements ALL members (Adult and underage) must complete a membership form this year. Forms are available to download further down page.
CLUB LOTTO JACKPOT IS £5,550
Tickets available in Local Shops
